After retiring from two distinguished military careers, Chris and his wife were called to help lead our next generation of Americans as the owners of New Horizons School, a private San Antonio preschool.   

 

Additionally, he serves as the National Director of Nonprofits with Match Rate PLUS, a subsidiary of North American  Bancard, overseeing the “We Give Back USA” merchant services campaign.

 

 

Willing to help lead our nation’s 7th largest city, Mr. Herring was appointed by Mayor Julian Castro to the Small Business Advocacy Committee representing over 77,000 businesses.   Mr. Herring is a recognized volunteer, leader, and mentor within Northeast ISD; past Board Chair Alamo Arts Ballet Theatre; past loaned executive Bexar County United Way; past Board of Director West San Antonio Chamber of Commerce; current Bexar County Representative to Texas A&M San Antonio; member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc, Psi Alpha Chapter; and Executive Director for Operation OASIS, a 501(c)3, supporting wounded warriors and their families.

River Walk Magazine

Chris published San Antonio's first River Walk Magazine in October 2007.  The magazine was praised by Forbes Magazine for it's design and presentation of the 7th largest city in the United States.   On your tour you can download the magazine to see Chris' marketing production at work.
